Support Policy and Definitions
The Backtrace Web Console is supported across a number of OS and Browsers. In order to receive technical support from our team, please use the latest version of our supported browsers and on a supported operating system.
Although we plan to develop our Web Console to be flexible to any web browser, we have created this support policy to help manage user expectations and be transparent with regard to our own test coverage.
For the purposes of this document:
- “Certified” means that we support and have thoroughly tested against these specs. Reported bugs / issues will be fixed.
- “Supported” means that we have done some light testing and expect full functionality unless otherwise noted. Reported bugs / issues will be triaged by our team and fixed where feasible.
- “Not Supported” means that we have not tested and will not fix any raised bugs
Troubleshooting and Support Engagement
If you are on an unsupported or uncertified browser / OS and encountering issues, the fastest way to unblock yourself is to try on a certified configuration.
That being said, we welcome users to reach out to our support team to report issues/bugs with non-certified OS/browser configurations. Though we will not guarantee a fix to your issue, we do monitor outstanding issues and demand for support of more platforms! If demand for support becomes high enough, we will broaden our support.
